Important Dates and Deadlines

Registration Fee: $18 (includes first bed of Shavings)
Late Fee: $5 (Horses, Rabbits & Feather Only, NO Large Livestock Animals will be allowed to register late.)
Additional Shavings: $8

Registration is due:
Steers - March 18
Goats, Sheep and Swine - May 13
Poultry, Rabbits, Horses - May 31
Open Class Breeding Animals - May 31

Tag & Verification Day Dates:
March 21 - Steers (animal and paperwork) from 8-11 am at the Benton County Fairgrounds
May 16 - Sheep and Goats (animal and paperwork) from 8-12 pm (Noon) at the Benton County Fairgrounds
May 16 - Swine (verification paperwork only) from 8-12 pm (Noon) at the Benton County Fairgrounds

Lost Tag Protocol and Forms

Beef - You must fill out the below form if you lose you Benton Franklin Fair Tag. Your Benton Franklin Fair tag we will re-tagged on Aug. 24 while going over the scale. Only animals with lost tag forms submitted will be allowed to get a new tag and go over the scale.

Steer Lost Tag Form

Swine - You must fille out the below form after you require the new 840 Premise ID Tag from your breeder. Benton Frankin Fair and the Market Stock Committee will not be supplying you with a new tag. New number must match tag in the hog's ear before going over the scale.

Swine Lost Tag Form

Goat/Sheep - You must fill out the below form if you lose you Benton Franklin Fair Tag or your Scrapie ID Tag. If you lose your Scrapie ID tag you must get the new one from the breeder and report the number in the form. If you lose your Benton Franklin Fair tag we will re-tag it on Aug. 24 while going over the scale. Only animals with lost tag forms submitted will be allowed to get a new tag and go over the scale.
