Queen Haley Cook

Haley, 21, is the daughter of Brent and Kimberly Cook of Burbank. She graduated from Columbia High School in 2016, where she also participated in WSU's running start program. Haley is now a junior at WSU Tri-Cities College of Nursing, on the President's Honor Roll, and plans to become a Registered Nurse. She has been riding horses since age three and participated in the Benton Franklin Fair for 11 years, showing lambs, swine, and horses. In addition to 4-H, she has been an active participant of the Columbia Basin Reiners and WAHSET.

As the ambassador of the Benton Franklin Fair and Horse Heaven Round-Up Rodeo, Haley will travel to over 90 events during her reign throughout the Pacific Northwest, Nevada, Colorado and Canada. Her experiences will include: being introduced on a chuckwagon in Reno, walking across the Calgary Stampede stage, meeting with senators and representatives at the state capitol in Olympia, and local events such as the Rascal Rodeos and school visits hoping to inspire the next generation of rodeo fans and athletes.

Queen Haley and her horse Kid look forward to seeing you all August 20-24 for the Best Week of Summer!
