As the 2026 Queen, Ashleigh travels throughout the Pacific Northwest, attending more than 60 events, including rodeos, parades, festivals, and community celebrations, to proudly represent the Benton Franklin Fair & Horse Heaven Round-Up.
The daughter of Don and Alexius Emlaw of Kennewick, Washington, Ashleigh is honored to advocate for both rodeo and agriculture. She celebrates their longstanding traditions while reflecting the values of community and western pride. A lifelong animal lover, Ashleigh has long cherished a special connection to horses that inspired her path toward veterinary medicine. She is continuing her studies through Penn Foster College while working as a veterinary assistant, uniting her compassion for animals with her commitment to their care and well-being.
Her personal motto, “take that step,” reflects her belief in saying yes to opportunity, growth, and leadership. Her dedication is reflected in her commitment to holding the title of Queen, embracing opportunities to lead, represent her community, and inspire others.
Ashleigh is excited to welcome you to the 78th Benton Franklin Fair and Horse Heaven Round-Up, August 25-29, 2026 in Kennewick, WA.
