For 77 years, the Benton Franklin Fair has woven itself into the fabric of our community, creating cherished memories across generations of families. Grandparents who enjoyed the Fair decades ago now watch their grandchildren experience that same magic, proudly showcasing 4-H projects, yelling with delight on carnival rides, and forming friendships that span a lifetime. From parents sharing cotton candy with toddlers to attendees meeting their future spouses, the Fair has been the backdrop for countless milestone moments that define our community’s story.
But the Fair is far more than just The Best Week of Summer. Year-round, we’re deeply invested in strengthening our community through youth development, addressing food insecurity, promoting agricultural education, celebrating cultural diversity, and fostering entrepreneurship.
The Fair serves as a major economic driver for our region, generating $20 million in economic output annually in Benton County while creating more than 160 jobs during peak season. Across Washington State, agricultural fairs contribute nearly $400 million in business revenue each year, creating local employment, supporting service organizations, and drawing visitors to communities throughout the region.
At the Fair, we celebrate everything that makes our community special: the remarkable achievements of our youth, the rich bounty of our agricultural heritage, and the simple joy of friendship. This truly is a community gathering, and we’re honored to serve as the foundation for memories that will last a lifetime.
Whether this is your first Benton Franklin Fair or your 77th, come join us for The Best Week of Summer! We promise to surprise, entertain, and inspire you during this magical time.
We can’t wait to see you!
