KENNEWICK, WA — The Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo has announced a new staging location for equestrian entries participating in the 77th Annual Grand Parade. This year, the equestrian staging area will be located at Keewaydin Park, with entry access from 10th Avenue and Auburn Street in Kennewick.
The new location replaces the previous staging area at Fruitland Elementary. Parade organizers ask all equestrian participants to take note of the change and plan accordingly.
To ensure a smooth and safe experience for all, equestrian participants are reminded of the following:
- All participants must bring a pooper scooper and are responsible for cleaning up after their horses.
- Horses should remain off park grounds as a courtesy to public spaces and event logistics.
- Equestrian entries are required to stay until the end of the parade to maintain safe and efficient movement for all entries.
