Dear Rodeo Fans, On behalf of the Horse Heaven Round-Up Rodeo Committee, I welcome you back for five nights of electrifying rodeo action, August 19-23, 2025! As one of the premier rodeos in the Northwest and a top-ranked PRCA event, the Horse Heaven Round-Up promises world-class competition, heart-pounding excitement, and the deep-rooted traditions that make rodeo truly special.
This year, contestants will be battling for a total purse of $225,000, with $25,000 added per event. The action heats up on Championship Saturday, where the Top 12 contestants in each event will go head-to-head for the coveted championship title. This is a crucial stop for PRCA athletes chasing their dreams of competing at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas!
We are proud to bring you live coverage on The Cowboy Channel, showcasing the incredible talent of the best rodeo athletes in the world. And returning for his 28th year, legendary rodeo announcer Roger Mooney will once again call the action. Protecting our cowboys in the arena are world-class bullfighters Dusty Tuckness, Nate Jestes, and Miles Barry, who will put their skills to the test against the toughest bulls in the sport. We are excited to welcome back fan-favorite Barrelman JJ Harrison of Walla Walla, who will be bringing the laughs while keeping the crowd engaged.
Since its founding in 1949, Horse Heaven Round-Up has been a pillar of rodeo tradition, making it one of the longest-running PRCA rodeos in the Pacific Northwest. As a proud member of the Big 4 Rodeos, we are committed to delivering an unforgettable experience for fans, competitors, and our community.
But our rodeo is about more than just competition, it’s about giving back. On Thursday night, we turn the arena pink for our 18th annual Tough Enough to Wear Pink event, raising funds for breast cancer healthcare for uninsured community members. To date, we’ve donated more than $224,000, and we’ll continue the tradition by donating $1 for every person wearing pink. On Saturday night, we honor our veterans and first responders, so join us in wearing red, white, and blue as we salute those who serve our country and communities.
Mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable week of rodeo action. We’ll see you at the Benton Franklin Fair for the 2025 Horse Heaven Round-Up! -Mike Casey, Chairman
