Kim Giglio grew up as a “horse crazy kid” in Hermiston, Oregon.Before she was old enough for 4-H, Kim competed in Pee Wee Rodeo with her Welsh pony named War Paint.By the fourth grade, she had graduated to full-sized horses which she showed in 4-H, Open and Appaloosa breed shows. She enjoyed all aspects of the 4-H horse program, including the performance, gaming and colt training divisions.
As an adult, Kim has worn many hats in the horse world including Competitor, Horse Show Mom, 4-H Leader, Show Manager, Clinician and Judge. She also co-owns an online tack store called “Horses on a Budget” with her husband Vic.
Kim has been a Pacific NW 4-H horse judge for the past 10 years and a WAHSET judge for five years. As a Senior Judge, she helps train new 4-H judges. In her free time, Kim enjoys traveling with her husband of 34 years and spending time with her two adult children.
